The 2014 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships is the 78th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams will participate at several levels of competition. The competition will also serve as qualifications for the 2015 competition.

Championship
The Championship will take place between sixteen teams from May 9 to May 25, 2014. Belarus will host the event with games being played in Minsk.1

Division I
The Division I competition will be held in two groups. Group A games to be played in Seoul, South Korea in late April 2014, and Group B will be played in Kaunas, Lithuania, from April 20 to April 26, 2014.1

The Division II competition will be held in two groups. Group A games to be played in Belgrade or Novi Sad, Serbia from April 9 to April 15 2014, and Group B will be played in Jaca, Spain, from April 5 to April 11, 2014.1

The Division III competition will be played from April 6 to April 12, 2013 in Luxembourg, Luxembourg.1
