Banky Brook is the traditional name given to the River Trent tributary that passes through the Ford Green valley in Stoke-on-Trent between Norton-in-the-Moors and Smallthorne. It was a popular place for local children to play in the past. Banky Brook passes close by Ford Green Hall, a 17th century farmhouse. A street in the nearby village of Bradeley is named Banky Brook Close.
