The franchise of the Hamilton Canucks was the top minor league affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks for two seasons (1992–1994) in the American Hockey League. Today, the franchise is known as the Syracuse Crunch.
This market has subsequently been the home to the Hamilton Bulldogs since 1996.
