Ithaca League of Women Rollers or ILWR, are a women's flat-track roller derby league based in Ithaca, New York.1 Founded in the Fall of 2007, the league had its first home bout at Cass Park Rink in May 2008. The ILWR became a WFTDA Apprentice league in January 2011,2 In September 2011 they became a full member league of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.3

Current teams

ILWR is composed of two teams: the SufferJets, and the BlueStockings (A team/B team). The SufferJets were voted the Ithaca Times Best Local Sports Team in 2010.4

Junior Rollers

The Ithaca League of Junior Rollers, or ILJR, is Ithaca’s all-women youth league and the first youth roller derby league founded in New York State. These youth had their exhibition bout in September 2010.5
