Krasnoyarsk Time (KRAT) is the time zone eight hours ahead of UTC (UTC+8) and 4 hours ahead of Moscow Time (MSK+4). KRAT is the official time zone for central and east Siberian regions of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Khakassia and Tuva.

Regions that formerly used this time zone include Novosibirsk Oblast (until 1993; this time zone was previously known as Novosibirsk Time NOVT/NOVST but had to be renamed for this reason) and Kemerovo Oblast (until spring 20101). These regions now use Omsk Time (UTC+7/MSK+3).

On 27 March 2011, Russia moved to year-round daylight saving time. Instead of switching between UTC+7 and UTC+8, Krasnoyarsk Time became fixed at UTC+8.
