Al-Mizan fi tafsiri'l-Qur'an, popularly known as Tafsir al-Mizan (Arabic: تفسير الميزان‎), is a Shi'a Muslim tafsir (or exegesis of the Quran) written by Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i.1

The book consists of 20 volumes originally written in Arabic.2 Up till now more than three editions have been printed in Iran and Lebanon.1

Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i (1892-November 15, 1981) was one of the most prominent thinkers of philosophy and contemporary Shia Islam. He is famous for Tafsir al-Mizan, the Qur'anic exegesis.2

Al-Mizan Translation in Urdu: Ayatullah Hasan Raza Ghadiri is translating this great and amazing tafseer in Urdu. Four volumes have been published.citation needed

The English translation of Al-Mizan has been done by Syed Saeed Akhtar Rizvi, an author, a renowned preacher of Shia religion and an extempore speaker in 5 language.32
