J H C Whitehead

How can J H C Whitehead have founded this journal in 1962 when according to his Wikipedia biography he died in 1960? 188.28.243.241 (talk) 19:43, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

There is an unsourced statement on the Whitehead article which says, "In the late 1950s, Whitehead approached Robert Maxwell, then chairman of Pergamon Press, to start a new journal, Topology, but died before its first edition appeared in 1962." I do not know the story or have a source myself. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:45, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
