Wayne Tinkle (born (1966-01-16)January 16, 1966) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Montana-Missoula. He served as an assistant for five years prior to becoming the head coach.

He played professionally for 12 seasons until 2000, including stints in the CBA, IBL and in Sweden, Spain, Italy and Greece.

Personal life

Wayne is married to Lisa McLeod, a former University of Montana women's basektball player. Wayne and Lisa have two daughters; Joslyn, a senior for Tara VanDerveer's Stanford Cardinal women's basketball team, and Elle, a freshman for Kelly Graves' Gonzaga Bulldogs women's basketball team, and a son Tres.
